The Primary Mathematics Specialist Teacher Programme (MaST) is a two-year professional development programme for primary school teachers. It offers a significant opportunity for CPD which will enable participating colleagues to be at the cutting edge of teaching and learning in mathematics.
Jonathan is a Consultant (maths) at the University of Northampton, within the Faculty of Education & Humanities and he has supported in excess of 80 Warwickshire teachers to engage in the MaST Programme and successfully achieve the award. The Programme is widely recognised to significantly influence teaching and learning experiences that children are exposed to in their respective classrooms. Furthermore, teachers involved in the Programme have contributed to the improvement of teaching, learning and assessment across their school and, in some instances, contributed to the provision of professional development within the wider school community.
